The historic racing Holdens will be part of an expanded lineup of Australian touring cars at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, held on March 25-26. In addition to the Heritage Touring Cars (Group C and A) and 5 Litre Touring Cars (Group 3A) categories, the V8 Supercars category of post-Project Blueprint V8s will commemorate Holden and the Commodore following its retirement at the end of 2022.

The last Holden winner in Supercars, the Triple Eight Race Engineering ZB Commodore driven by Broc Feeney, will feature, returning to the scene of its historical final Holden win last December. It will be driven driven by Supercars team owner Peter Xiberras.

The Triple Eight machine will be joined by the 2016 Bathurst 1000-winning Tekno Autosports VF Commodore. It will be driven by Jonathan Webb – seven years after Webb and co-driver Will Davison shared the car to victory in the Bathurst 1000.

The VF Commodore in which Jamie Whincup won the 2013 and 2014 Supercars championships will also compete. This Commodore was the first championship winner of the Car of the Future era of Supercars, and the third-most winning V8 Supercar in history. It will be driven by Chad Parrish.

Other Holden Commodore V8 Supercars in the category include a former James Courtney Holden Racing Team VF; a former Rick Kelly HSV Dealer Team VZ; a former Mark Skaife Holden Racing Team VE; a former Perkins Engineering VE Commodore; and more.

The Adelaide Motorsport Festival will be held on the Victoria Park section of the Adelaide Street Circuit on March 25 and 26.
