Angus Fogg returns to Australia with his spectacular black-and-gold Mustang for a three-race assault on the National Sports Sedan Series starting at the Sydney Masterblast at Sydney Motorsport Park on September 9-10.

It’s not the first time the Mustang has raced on our shores; Fogg drove it at Bathurst four years ago in the Touring Car Masters events. Taking on the more modified Sports Sedans will be a new challenge, but with some 600kW on tap the Mustang should give a good account of itself.

“I’m stoked to be heading over to race in Australia,” Fogg said. “We didn’t leave ourselves much time to prepare and modify the car, but it got a well-deserved mechanical birthday, and a few ‘stick ons’ to make it faster.

“The goal is to go and have some fun at three of Aussie’s coolest motorsport events rather than any aspirations of winning, The National Sports Sedan Series features a vast array of cars and will be quite a different challenge from last time we were there.”

The Sydney Masterblast is on at Sydney Motorsport Park over the weekend of September 9-10. For tickets go to www.sydneymasterblast.com.
