Four-time Bathurst winner Murphy will drive the Kmart Holden Commodore VT that he and Steven Richards shared in the Queensland 500 and Bathurst 1000 in 2000, finishing in third place in both events. The car – the last Gibson Motorsport-built Commodore V8 Supercar, before Gibson switched to Ford – has been made available for the event by owner/collector Ben Stack.
Murphy will also appear on stage in the Adelaide Marriott Grand Marquee over the course of the event
The 2025 Repco Adelaid Motorsport Festival will feature, in action on the track, F1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, historic touring cars, motorbikes and more. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting adjacent to the Adelaide Parklands street circuit.
Tickets are on sale now with weekend tickets and single-day tickets available, in addition to tickets to the Toyota Gazoo Racing Garden and VIP Suite hospitality offerings.
