Coca-Cola Racing by Erebus is the new name for the Melbourne-based team that is emerging as one of the sport’s new contenders. Erebus Motorsport has secured backing from the soft drink giant for the next two seasons, unveiling its new-look red and black Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro today (Wednesday February 8).

The team’s rising stars, Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki, took the wraps off the team’s first Gen3 car at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast. The new livery features Coca-Cola red down the flanks, while retaining previous sponsor, Shaw and Partners Financial Services on the bonnet and rear three-quarter panels.

Erebus Motorsport’s Managing Director, Shannen Kiely, was understandably pleased to have secured the big name new sponsor for the start of the Gen3 era.
“There has never been a more exciting time for our sport, and the launch of our new car marks a significant milestone not only for the category but also our team,” Kiely said.
Erebus opted to reveal the car on the Gold Coast but won’t get it on track until next week when it undergoes initial running at Winton. The team will then head to Sydney Motorsport Park for the February 22 open test ahead of the season-opening event on the Newcastle streets on March 10-12.
