The countdown is on until the new-generation Ford Mustang arrives, but it seems the cat (or should we say, pony) is out of the bag early. A post on the Ford forum - mustang7g.com - claims to be an image of the new Mustang GT.
While there has been no verification from Ford and there is no evidence on the image to suggest it is legitimate or otherwise, it does share a resemblance to an image of a partially uncamouflaged Mustang prototype that has also leaked online this week.
Based on the images it’s safe to expect an evolutionary rather revolutionary design for this seventh-generation pony car. The new grille is larger than the current model and the headlights appear to have more detailing, but overall the shape of the Mustang remains similar to the out-going model.
