The 2026 TCM season kicks off in conjunction with the Repco Supercars Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park over the February 20-22 weekend. There’s a second Eastern Creek appearance later in the year at the Australian Racing Drivers’ Club's Australian Muscle Car Masters meeting in August, but the remaining four TCM rounds take place at Supercars round weekends.

An important year looms for the Touring Car Masters as the category continues to rebuild after several lean seasons. Last season delivered promising signs, with increased field sizes and some great racing, culminating in the end-of-year twin-round (Bathurst and Sandown) Trans-Tasman Challenge.

It’s expected that grids will continue to grow this year, with news of several new cars currently under construction, including a TCM-spec 1980s Toyota Supra.
