Steven Johnson wrapped up the 2023 Gulf Western Oils Touring Car Masters Championship on the streets of Adelaide as the series said 'Ciao for now' to John Bowe. Bowe almost failed to start his final race though after engine dramas struck his Rare Spares Torana. Fellow competitor Jim Pollicina throwing Bowe the keys to his A9X allowing the two times Bathurst champion to take the flag for one last time in the series.
